Born in 1990, Drusille Fagnibo lives and works in Cotonou. Since an early age, she was fascinated by art from the Renaissance period, which often referred to ancient biblical texts.

She pursued her studies in Brazil, where she took the time to rediscover the movement and its subtle lines by observing Capoeira dancers.

Exploring various mediums, Drusille transfers the lightness of watercolor onto her works. Her technique stands out with picturesque works, full of realism and carefully crafted touches of colours evoking a revisited and modern impressionism.

In 2020 Drusille was commissionned to produce two monumental frescoes in the People’s Hall of the Presidency of the Republic of Benin.
